Since November 2010, Reed Technology has been successfully providing secure, forensically sound, and fully searchable archives of websites and social media communications (e.g., Facebook, LinkedIn, Twitter, etc.) to commercial, government, legal and financial entities. The web archiving division of Reed Technology, now referred to as Reed Archives, provides support for litigation protection, regulatory compliance, records management and eDiscovery needs.
“Reed Archives has as its singular focus the delivery of industry-leading archiving solutions, utilizing capabilities that leverage a 50-year history of information management services to a wide range of businesses and professional services,” said Dave Ballai, CIO and VP commercial solutions at Reed Technology. “In changing the name of the division to Reed Archives, we are purposefully further aligning the archiving segment with the broader capabilities of the Reed Technology family of brands for the benefit of our customers.”
Reed Archives offers a robust platform for the capture and management of a broad range of web content. Services include complex website and social media content capture and management, as well as Web Preserver, an easy to use solution that enables users to capture entire web pages with full functionality while preserving each page in a private, fully searchable repository with the single click of a button.
“As part of the LexisNexis family, Reed Archives brings the sophistication and strength of a global business to our clients, delivering high standards of security, process control, availability and attention to customer service,” said Rod Wittenberg, director of web archiving services at Reed Technology. “We are excited about the website redesign as it offers expanded, informative content under a streamlined brand name.” [August 20, 2012]
