In addition to a series of classical animation courses, the curriculum includes in-depth drawing classes, a year of cartooning, character design, a sequence of visual language, storytelling and storyboarding courses, background painting and background design. In year three, computer courses are introduced, now including Toon Boom’s professional products.
"Toon Boom is fully committed to education and is pleased to welcome the Max the Mutt Animation School into its family. Considering Max the Mutt’s excellent reputation and our close relationship with the
industry, we are confident their graduate students will quickly find placement in the market place and start an exciting career in animation," shared Joan Vogelesang, President and Chief Executive Officer at Toon Boom. [August 21, 2007]
