Grand Theft Auto IV vandalise with images

The release date of Grand Theft Auo IV is approaching and some analysts deem it the biggest game of 2008 already. Discover why with new images taken from the Rockstar oven after the jump. For this first entry destined on consoles from this generation, developer Rockstar gives all what it has in order to make sure the experience is unique. According to the company, Grand Theft Auto IV is a bigger leap than the 2D to 3D transition we saw with Grand Theft Auto III. The technology evolved a lot since the last entry in the franchise, San Andreas, and it was only an « expansion » in a minor league when compared to this production.



In this game, it’s all about delivering chaos to Liberty City, rebuilt to simulate the architecture of New-York city and its numerous peculiarities. Nikolai Bellic, an European, just got there and tries to achieve the american dream, in other words, get a lot of cash. The release date for GTA IV is set to April 29, 2008 on Playstation 3 and Xbox 360.
